Garden Square Shopping Centre played host to the only grotto in the town and also provided colouring sheets and pencils for youngsters to keep them entertained.

Praxis, the owner of the Garden Square Shopping Centre in Letchworth, has completed a new lease with Trespass the UK sportswear brand. The Trespass store located at 2-4 Commerce Way next to Boots Chemist will open its doors to the public on Saturday 30th November.
This deal adds to Trespass’ portfolio of more than 150 stores across the UK and brings another strong, national brand to the Centre alongside New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Costa and Body Shop.
Praxis acquired the Garden Square Shopping Centre in March and has already implemented an aggressive asset management and repositioning strategy, which includes the letting of four vacant units, an update of the Centre’s branding and renewed events and marketing strategy.
Commenting on the Trespass letting, Katherine Croom, Senior Asset Manager at Praxis Real Estate Management said; “The arrival of Trespass to Garden Square is fundamental to our approach of actively managing the shopping centre by bringing in new brands to broaden and strengthen the Centre’s offer. It’s a Use that is currently underrepresented in the town and complements our existing tenants such as Boots, Dorothy Perkins and New Look. Negotiations are currently underway with other national brands and together with improving the look and feel of the malls, we expect to transform the Centre. Our objective is to ensure customers choose Letchworth over other competing centres.”
